Before the Revival comes the road.
For Ralph Lauren, the journey to Goodwood offered more than a route into the event. Working with creator Callum Mullin was a way into the rituals, textures and quiet anticipation that surround it. We built the film from tactile observations: leather gloves, wind in hair, tea at the roadside and the landscape passing beyond the windscreen.
Rather than hurry towards arrival, the camera stays with these details and lets the pace of the drive shape the film. Ralph Lauren’s relationship with heritage is felt through behaviour and atmosphere rather than announced, creating something polished but never over-arranged.
Creative direction, direction and DP throughout by Teller’s Stu McCardle, with production company Knock Knock.
